Broadway Community’s End-of-Summer Hiatus

The soup kitchen, shelter, medical care, and social services will be on hiatus from Sunday, August 21st through Tuesday, September 6th, 2016. This will be a time for Broadway Community to have a deep clean of the kitchen, floors, and pantry. All services will resume on Wednesday, September 7th, 2016.

Broadway Community Summer Solstice: CLOSED July 4-8

In order to do some deep cleaning and reorganization of our spaces, Broadway Community will be closed Monday 4 July – Friday 8 July, inclusive.

We will reopen on Monday, July 11th, at 10:30am for our usual schedule!

Homemade FANTAP, Spring 2016

With an emphasis on affordable organics, healthy eating, food around the world and kids’ cuisine, participants get a folder w/ nutrition info, recipes, as well as Teatime Snacks, a Delicious Dinner and a Pantry Bag, these workshops highlight how to get the most in flavor, nurture, and spirit for the least in dollars and depression.On March and April, the Four-Star Soup Kitchen Director Chef Michael leads three workshops designed for the home cook.  Each will prepare and consume a different themed menu, building culinary skills and nutritional knowledge.
